Ruby’s Pop Up Peepshow

Is a project that will advance and transition event entertainment by adapting a utility trailer into a mobile “Peepshow”. A safe, interactive burlesque and performance space whereby guests will "peep" into the mobile unit to view burlesque, stripping, and drag performers, in cheeky acts that are sexy but still leave something to the imagination. Think of it as a side-show of celebration and body acceptAnce that engages people regardless of gender and sexuality!

  interactive performance art Is in essence a cathartic and therapeutic experience for the artist and audience alike. It is about revealing more than skin and body parts, it is about the stripping away of layers of social mores and expectations. It is about truly living in the moment.

what we have to share offers so much to the social and political fabrics of life. The personal is always political. Moreover, part of our mandate is to benefit non profit and grassroots organizations along our travel routes. We want to bring awareness and celebration to the work these organizations do and the unique people they serve.

the Peepshow also addresses a true need for intImacy in our culture.

With this project there is no reason to look away.

By recognizing peoples isolation and putting a spotlight on everyones need for honest connection, and through the performative arts, the Peepshow has the power to get us thinking about:
