Ruby Entertainments presents the latest trend in dance, fitness, and fun: Hula Hooping! In this workshop Miss Hoop Tastic teaches the fundamental basics of Hoopdance.

Perfect for stagettes, birthdays, or any special occasion where a group of girls want to have a funky-fun time! Whether you can't even imagine keeping a hoop around your waist, or you have some experience and would like to start learning (more) tricks, this class is for you. Miss Hoop Tastic is skilled in the art of hooping and instructs in a warm manner that instantly puts her students at ease.

If you have any interest in Hoopdance or Hoop Fitness, a beginner class is beneficial to build from. Material covered :

• Foundational waist hooping
• Horizontal plane hooping (directions, stalls, scoop)
• Moving the hoop up the core of the body (the Snake)
• Grips and surface switches (the beginning of the Vortex)
• Off-body horizontal hooping (Around the World, Helicopter, jumps)
• Vertical plane hooping (Warrior, Revolving Door, step-ins, jumps)

Feel free to bring your own hoop if you have one, but we have plenty to lend and some for sale at a special discounted rate if anybody is interested!
